Where do I start… my experience with these solicitors has been horrific! Me and my partner are first time buyers and we were so excited to go through this once in a life time journey, these people ruined it and caused us way more stress then it needed to be. There was no communication from the start, we would be the ones to always chase for an update, we would always be told “they will call you back” and never did, they also phone dodge us as well as the other parties solicitors and the estate agent. We were always met with attitude from one particular receptionist and sometimes from the solicitor herself. It got to a stage where the vendors were about to put the house back on the market due to the lack of communication which of course sent me and my partner income panic mode and no one at glover priest seemed to take me seriously. One of the days I was calling and calling and kept being told “she will call you back” never did so I had to get my partner to call which after a few words the receptionist put him through straight where with me it was always “call back”. Thankfully after my partner had a few right words to say they got their act together and we got our completion day and now have the keys. This was pure negligence and caused us so much stress and worry which was never needed! The only person who actually treated me as a client and as a person was Kate so thank you Kate.
