A local pub for local people Certainly did bot feel welcome and the beer was mediocre. Only had one drink and moved on…

Nice old traditional bar feel to this place. I felt like I was on holiday and found a small local pub where everyone was happy to see you.

Nipped in for a quick pint before catching a train. Brilliant little micro pub. Superb beer selection and friendly service.

Slightly older crowd (I’m 30’s) with mostly strong/dark ales on offer. Damp atmosphere. Not for me.

Nice little bar, only a few people in when I visited. Some excellent beers on tap. Will visit again, I believe it's closing for a bit of a revamp.

Gem of a bar, featuring some wonderful beers, if your in Lichfield it’s certainly worth visiting this little independent bar. Beer was first class like the service.

Have visited the Whippet Inn several times over the past couple of years. A wonderful micropub. Always a terrific selection of real ales, cider and craft ales. Warm, friendly staff and a friendly atmosphere. We'll be back...

Absolutely loved this place, probably my favourite on my recent trip to Lichfield. Good selection of cask (perfectly kept), keg & a very high quality can selection if not a huge list. Very busy, great for dogs. Great watering hole! Would've loved to take the place back home with me!
