I have had a disappointing experience with Walton Homes regarding service charges and transparency. Despite verbal assurances during the sales process that charges wouldn't begin until the development was complete, we were billed significantly earlier. When challenged, the developer stated they could not verify these promises as the sales staff had left despite all residents being told the same thing. Furthermore, my private, occupied home has been used in their marketing without my ongoing consent and can be identified through the picture posted. When I sought clarity on various issues we have had, I received a letter labeling my inquiry as "vexatious" and threatening legal costs. The matter is now with the Property Ombudsman and the Consumer Code for Home Builders. I advise potential buyers to get every verbal promise in writing before signing or buying any property from Walton Homes.

I moved in to my house in 2019, a new build, and have had no end of problems. The garden is full of rubble the builders didn’t want to get rid of under only a few inches of grass. The plumbing in our entire house is awful and costing us probably over £1000 to resolve just the shower and kitchen sink (see quote for the shower below) Walton homes refused to help despite their shoddy work because we didn’t have the floorboards ripped up to check all their work within the two year timeframe, not something I think any reasonable person would have thought to do. I just hope this review stops someone else making the same mistake I did buying a house from Walton homes

Just moved in our new Walton Home, the quality of the house and fittings are great, from visiting the sales office to buying was made very easy and the communication was excellent from start to finish. Since moving in the onsite support is far more than what we could expect, a lot better from the house builder we previously lived in. A big thank you to Carl the site manager and Sallyann the sales support for everything they have done for us. If i was asked if i would buy another Walton Home in the future the answer would be 100% yes.

Absolute first class service from Walton Homes, they have stuck by us through a tough experience of selling 2 properties to buy our new home. Sallyann (sales manager) has been with us all the way through offering her support and care from start to finish and still continues to be there for us. From the moment we moved in Carl Brough (site manager) has been so helpful with advice and dealing with any snags which there have been very few with speed and great efficiency and continues to offer his help as the build on the site continues. We could not be happier with our new home and we highly recommend Walton Homes to anyone looking for their new home for life.

I purchased my beautiful home from Walton Homes recently and the entire experience was made so much easier than I anticipated when buying a house on my own as Anita helped me through each and every step. Any questions or queries that I had, Anita went out of her way to find the answers for me and if she couldn't answer the phone to me straight away, then I knew I would always get a call back! She also allowed me to come and view my property when I liked so that I could gather measurements etc before I moved in. Even now, months after I have moved in, Anita still makes sure she stops to have a friendly chat with me and asks me how things are; she’s an asset to the company! My 2 week review was great and any issues that I initially picked up on were dealt with within 2 weeks of the report. I cannot fault my experience with Walton Homes and I can recommend them to anybody!

I strongly agree with negative feedbacks others have left here about Walton Homes after care and customer service. They are saying the fault is because of me and decided not to repair it. We all need to buy a house at some point. I would not recommend Walton Homes because of their awful after care and customer service. Buy from other builders.

We have recently purchased a house from Walton Homes and the experience we have had with them as a company so far has been brilliant. We dealt with Amy for the majority of the process and she has been amazing!! If she couldn't answer the phone straight away we always got a call back and she was chasing our solicitor for us when we couldn't get responses. Amy is a huge asset to the company! We have had a few issues since moving in including struggling to get internet which Amy has again assisted with. The Site Manager has been over nearly every day to sort out the other issue. We would highly recommend buying a house from Walton Homes if our experience so far is anything to go from. Thanks again for our lovely house (after buying from a plan the house is much better than we could have ever expected)!

Having Lived in our Walton Home for over a year i felt i could now give a fair review. From first meeting the Lynne, sale lady and Dave, site manager we found them very Professional and helped us though all stages of our purchase After having moved in yes there were some snags with our home but following a call to the service department they soon attended and completed the work we even had a leak which was attended to the same day and made good a few days later. We love our home and would recommend Walton homes from first visit to making it our home nothing is too much trouble Thank you Team Walton!

We bought our new home from Walton Home's and couldn't be more pleased. Everything we were promised as part of the sale was provided to a high standard. The after sales care was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. If we consider moving in the future we will most certainly contact Walton Homes to see where their new builds are located.

Being a first time buyer I was very nervous about buying my first home. The staff on site and in the office guided me through the process and made me feel so much better. I was able to bespoke my home, even though it was more or less complete when I reserved. This meant so much to me. The developments they build are like little communities, I love my new home and the neighbours around me are just as nice. I cannot recommend this builder enough from the beginning and even to now dealing with after sales the service has been second to none. I have recommended friends here too and they give you £500 if your recommendation buy's a Walton Home which is a fab incentive!
