Dropped off a 30 year old amp that I managed to kill with less than careful speaker wiring on a Saturday afternoon. Ben had it diagnosed the following week and agreed the price with me before continuing with his repair, which was complete and ready for me to pick up the next Monday. Nice quick turnaround and after having a peek inside it took me a while to find the replaced components as he'd done a nice clean job of it. Amp is now working as good as ever, highly recommended!

I had 2 issues with my turntable causing it to only output through one speaker. Both issues were discovered and fixed within a week for a very reasonable cost. Would definitely use this service again.

Our thirtysomething year old Panasonic stacking music centre had a broken cd and tape deck and we were thinking of getting rid of it but the turntable was useful to plays albums very occasionally so we thought it worth fixing. After seeing good reviews of Pandasounds I piled it into an blue IKEA shopping bag, got my husband to drop me at the end of Bird Street and staggered along to find the shop (in between the food festival vans) which turned out to be in S & J Music. Steve said it'd be £20 for Ben to check it out which I paid, and two days later Ben rang with a quote, then two hours later rang again to say it was fixed! Two hours and another £90 later it was back home. It's great to find someone prepared to fix anything these days so I was very impressed.

Thanks, Ben, for resurrecting our school's broken keyboards and electric pianos. We have saved literally thousands by getting them repaired and not replaced, which is vital with the state of school funding and sustainability. Very friendly service. Will definitely be using again in the future (although hopefully not too soon...)

Sent our 1970s record deck to Ben at Pandasound. It hadn't been used for fifteen years or more and was in need of a thorough going over.
It came back in less than a week and is working well and sounding wonderful. I'd forgotten just how good some of that old (1950s) vinyl could sound. The price was very reasonable too, so we're well pleased.
And he works out of one of the finest music shops in the midlands, so what's not to like!

Ben is an old school type of guy for your old school audio. I bought an old Garrard 401 & Ben has advised, serviced, & refurbed it to something truly spectacular. We kept the original sme 3009 arm, got a 2m bronze on his recommendation. I picked the plinth & he sourced the feet. It sounds amazing, & looks even better. I've seen his workshop & there were all sorts of beauties from yesteryear in there. If you want some audio tlc from a man with a genuine passion & love of sound, look no further.
