Went here on Sunday. Had the mixed platter for two. Wow wonderful tasty food, great service a and will definitely be going back. Great place to go and something different that brings a taste of the sun on a winter day.

We had a lovely late lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. The food was amazing especially the mousakka and lamb shank. The service was excellent from Sherif, who was very friendly and kindly gave my wife a dessert for her birthday. The drinks were great and atmosphere was quiet due to late lunch but nice anyway . We will be back, thank you.

My son and I visited on a Tuesday lunchtime. The service was impeccable as was the food. We had stuffed vine leaves and saganaki to Start followed by baked salmon with veg and stuffed pepper and tomato. My son asked if he could have some potatoes with his salmon as it just came with veg and this was not an issue at all.

First time here, as a family of seven,will definitely be returning! Great food, large portions. Staff attentive. Full marks from my family!

Never knew this place was here until we went for someone’s birthday. I really liked it here. Good authentic Greek look. Greek staff, who were really friendly and helpful, lovely atmosphere. The food was amazing. I had Keftedes to start, really tasty. Never had a stater with chips though. For the main we had a sharing platter for 4. It was massive, Tons of meat. We only just managed to eat half between us all. Really tasty, cooked perfectly. Not a bad selection of drinks, but unfortunately no cider. We’ll definitely visit again soon.

Authentic Greek restaurant in the heart of Lichfield with friendly staff members, delicious foods and nice Greek music. Reasonable prices and large variety of food. I strongly recommend their Chicken Souvlaki (with tzatziki, salad and chips) or Chicken Gyros. If you prefer Greek soft drinks, try theit sparkling Loux Lemonade. Some extra Greek decoration would be nice to feel the real Greek hospitality.

Could not recommend this place enough, welcoming staff, food is amazing every time, fifth time I’ve been as of writing this review will definitely be going many more times, portion sizes are very generous for the price, wait times for food are very good, probably the best place I have been for food in lichfield also has an upstairs seating area for large groups of people. Offers a varied drinks menu and food is very authentic.

I had high hopes for this place, having heard good things from friends. The atmosphere was lovely, welcoming and had a nice buzz that made for an enjoyable setting. (Especially for a Wednesday night!) We ordered the lamb and also the grilled chicken, and while the food was decent, it didn’t quite meet expectations in terms of flavour, presentation, or originality. It felt more like a home-cooked meal or takeaway kebab than something you’d expect when dining out at that price point. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but the food didn’t quite stand out. A bit more attention to detail could really lift it.

My wife and I went to The Greek Chef this evening for the first time. Booked our table online. When we arrived the restaurant was almost full and very busy (always good to see- usually a good reason why restaurants are busy). We were quickly and warmly welcomed by the young lady (sorry- should have asked her name so I could mention her in the review). Shown to our table and brought water for us. After 5 or 10 mins with the menu she came back to take our order. We had: stuffed vine leaves ; giant butter beans in tomatoes for starters- moussaka; Greek salad for mains- orange pie ; baklava for desert. The young lady was polite, friendly, helpful and attentive throughout. The chef brought all the food out to us. All of the food was top class- fresh, tasty, generous, well-presented....really well cooked by people who are clearly expert in their field. The Greek Chef gets a whopping 12 out of 10 across the board from me... Warm, cosy, relaxed and friendly atmosphere; welcoming, friendly and attentive service; delicious food and generously portioned; excellent value for money Thanks to all at TGC Lichfield for a lovely evening....we'll definitely be back 👍🍽

Went for my birthday lunch as Greek food is my favourite. First time visiting. Service friendly. Place is a tad dated but added to the authentic greek vibe they were going for. Most of all - the food was INCREDIBLE!! I am fortunate enough to have visited most of Greece and let me tell you - the food here topped some of the food I've eaten there. We will definitely be returning soon and have spread the word to many! Thank you for a lovely birthday meal 😊
