Lovely place, so green and peaceful. Very well kept too.
My favourite park in Lichfield.

It's a lovely space blighted by the LHCRT tinkering and the new wave of dog walkers that do not clean up after their pets.
Dog-friendliness: No chavvy dogs. Not yet

Nice country style park either side of Darnford Lane, with A38 as background noise. Great for dog walkers with some dog agility equipment and lots of poop bins. Small kids play area too.
Most benches and picnic tables replaced with new ones in early 2023.

Beautiful, clean and well kept park. Loads of space for my dog to run around and chase a ball. Other people's dogs here also seem to be really well behaved and mind their own business, so I've never had to worry about other dogs in any way. Lovely safe place for mine to be off leash in the sun!

Lovely park to walk the dog, mainly flat with pathways at either side of the grass. It runs alongside the busy A38 but is fenced off so safe for dogs off lead. The foliage from the trees during summer also shields the passing traffic. My only complaint is dog owners not always picking up after their dogs. It's nowhere near as bad as other places I've walked my dog but occasionally some is missed, I wouldn't let this put you off walking there. There is also a small children's playground across the road and a further area of the park which is more undulating.

Lovely park for taking the dog for a walk, lots of space to let them run off the lead with a variation of fields and wooded area. A little play park for the kids albeit basic but with a bit of imagination it's a castle. Parking is a struggle though only one small car park in between the park land enough for 10 cars if they were all parked perfectly, which is rare. Plenty of street parking though with it being on the side of an estate.

Used to live next to it 20 years ago and it hasn't changed much since. Still a pleasant space with open grass and small woody copses. Lots of room for games and a small play park for younger children as well.
