I have never had so much trouble when wanting to close an account, the volunteer in Hednesford lied to Lichfield office, telling them he had given me money when he had not, also telling them that I kept the payment book, he gave me the book back and said “you had better keep this”. Their attitude was not a good impression for the credit union, first person stated they would phone me back, they did not, so I emailed them and the women I spoke to was most put out when I stated Hednesford were lying and they had two pounds from me to open the account therefore I requested the one pound back that they had kept when I first wanted to close the account. As yet I have not received it.

As a member of Fusion for over a year now, I am impressed that they offer affordable loans to local people. The loans come from the savings of other local people and it's all run by volunteers
